Web Design Course

SEO is an easy thing for me and it is where I specialize in. However when it comes to web design, I’m better off by outsourcing. I’ve made some web designs before but none of my clients appreciate them. In fact even my friends and family didn’t like them when I showed them what I did. My sister instead suggested that I should enroll at http://www.iadtchicago.edu/ and take a degree course in web design. To be honest, I’m actually considering her suggestion and get a web design course.

During my free time I would also open up some image editor programs and try to learn some good designs myself. My friend Jeff is also giving me some tutorials every once in a while. This is to return the favor for one of his website that I optimized for free. I can confidently say that I am improving really fast but the additional knowledge that the formal web design course can give me will definitely help a lot. Next time you’ll know, I can offer web design to my clients too.

Using Forums To Make Your Website More Popular

Forums are a great way to jump start your internet business. If you have never used forums for marketing then there is not a lot to learn but these ideas should help you out right away.

1.Do a Google search for forums in your niche by searching +forum. Join relevant forums that are in some way related to your niche. For example, someone involved with a diet related product, many types of forums could apply….everything from Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers to calories and fitness.

2. Choose popular forums. There is no point in wasting your time and energy on forums that few members and few posts. Google page rank and the amount of active members and threads as well as page views are a few good ways to check for this.

3. Choose forums that allow a signature. If it’s possible read the rules before joining and pay attention to them. Your time is important, too. It is better to find out that a forum doesn’t allow posts with signatures or links before you join so that you will eventually be able to promote products that you support.

After you have joined follow these steps to become better at using the forums to your advantage.

1. Keep your signature short and update it regularly. The ideal thing is to limit yourself to one link, preferably to a product page on your site, too many links will water down your signature and people may not click and ling then.

2. Don’t ever push your products hard, this just offends people. This is the most important rule I believe because it only displays the marketers lack of experience if he does so. At best this kind of post will be deleted by the monitors after killing your trust with the other members of the forum….at worst, it is grounds for being banned.

3. Become a great helper to all forum members. Be an active member on the forum. Plan to spend at least an hour a few of times a week and take the time to get to know the users. Take the time to introduce yourself with intelligent questions depending upon the forum’s topic. And always add to the conversation, never just type “I agree”

As a marketer becomes a regular member, they will hopefully develop a good reputation and without saying a word about their promotion, those who are interested in their product will approach them.

Door to Success

It has been eight months since I started out in the internet business and I can say that I’m slowly picking up the phase. The year has just started but I can already tell that it is going to be a fruitful year. I can still remember before I discovered the potential in the internet industry, I had to often borrow cash loans from good cash loan providers link ThinkCash.com. There was even a time when had to take the public transport just to go to my previous job.

Well, I think all is now well and I took every bad thing that happened to me as something that contributed to me being a better person. Like they always say, this is how all winners are winners are born. Now I’m off to share every step that I took and every step that I will be taking to reach success. There are a lot of new ideas that are currently playing in my mind and who knows, they might just be the next big thing in the internet. With some hard work and also a little luck, the door to success is not hard to reach.

Yahoo! Search Marketing

The web search engines are extremely vital for the retrieving of information via the internet. There are several ways in which these search engines employ certain marketing formulas with the aid of which they are able to ensure prompt income. One such prominent means is with the aid of the pay per click search engines. The Pay Per Click options are provide prevalently by the various search engines, advertising networks and even websites or blogs and these function in a unique manner. As soon as a consumer clicks on a particular link and thus visits the website of the advertiser, the advertiser is then required to pay. It is interesting to note that in case of pay per click search engines, the advertisers usually put their stake on certain key words which they expect the user to insert in the search engine in order to accumulate some sort of information. The ads that appear instantly corresponding to the entry of the keywords and such ads are referred to as ’sponsored ads’ or ’sponsored links’.

Yahoo! Search Marketing is one among the top three pay per click search engines functioning in the World Wide Web at present. It has been estimated that the most prominent feature of Yahoo! Search Marketing, known as Sponsored Search caters to about 80% of the internet users and provides an effective list of the various web portals and search engines. Some of the sponsored listings as featured in Yahoo! Search Marketing include ESPN, Yahoo! MSN, Excite, CNN, Infospace and AltaVista. Local Sponsored search is another feature which enables clients all over the world to reach one irrespective of the fact whether the individual’s firm has a website or not. Content Match is another component of this Sponsored Search which allows the consumers to gain access beyond initial search results and then have contact with their clients via emails, newsletters and online publishers. The payment of the monthly usage charge is possible through two modes, namely Marketing Console and Search Optimizer. Sign up bonuses are priced around $50 and the minimum cost per click is $0.10. Start-up costs are stated around $5. There are two major sign up plans used by Yahoo! Search Marketing. These are SelfServe and FastTrack. While FastTrack is estimated at $199, the SelfServe feature is available free of cost. There are various support options available for aiding the advertiser and also the consumer and Yahoo! Search Marketing is well known for its well regulated traffic and efficient functioning.

Chef d’ SEO

When I was just a little kid, my mom and dad would always ask me if what would I want to be and I would always say that I want to be an astronaut. Okay… So I was probably not the smartest kid in our family but at least I was still cute. Now that I’m older (but still young), people are now asking if what would I be if I was not in the internet business. Then I would smile and say that I would probably be a chef and do a website like www.chefs.com because I really love the internet and cooking.

Well, I don’t think that you can imagine a chef doing SEO for your website but it’s true. Being great in cooking is just natural for me because it runs in the family. We have a small but growing cafe that my mom started out around four years ago. I also have an aunt who had a formal degree in culinary that is currently working in a luxurious five star restaurant. If the internet industry would ever go down, you know where to find me - in the kitchen.

How Affiliates Can Affect Your SEO

An affiliate can link to a merchant site in a number of ways. Common types of links include text links (a piece of text hyperlinked to a URL, a banner link (boxes that contain words and graphics), search boxes and graphic or photographic links.

The text links are great for SEO especially if you enhance them with keywords. Pictures and graphics are okay if there is not too many of them. A search engine spider could read them as blank space and then categorize your website as being unfinished. There is one way in which pictures and graphics can work for you and that is if you add photo captions that are optimized with pictures beneath them.

Banner links can actually sabotage your SEO efforts especially if they are the blinking kind that uses some kind of primitive flash. The spiders read that as a blank space as well and may categorize your website as being unfinished and rank it low.

An affiliate can also link to you through your home page, through a product specific link as is in tail linking or directly to a storefront. Obviously the more affiliates you have the more opportunity you will have to virally spread your keywords to wherever else your affiliates may choose to put their links in their efforts to make money.

If you want to promote your own busienss then avoid affiliate programs that are cobranded. some affiliate programs, affiliates can maintain their Web site identity even after a customer links to the merchant Web site. The merchant Web site will handle all the sales, and will usually host the page, but will configure the page so that it appears as though it’s still part of the affiliate Web site (Unless the user examines the URL displayed by his browser, he probably won’t even know he has linked to another site.

Recreation

Are you familiar with the saying that all work and no play make Joe a slowly dying man? Well probably not because that’s just what I’ve always believed in. Though you can always see me hard at work, I still give my self some time to recreate and have some fun. My most favorite hobby is playing Online Bingo because it gives the excitement that I’m looking for. Also, playing this game does not cost me a lot of money but it gives me a good chance of winning a good amount of money.

PartyBingo.com is where I often play online bingo because I find their website professional and I don’t need to download any software to be able to play. Aside from playing online bingo, I also love to go camping outdoors. The thought of going to a quiet place, away from all the noise and stress of the city life makes me want to travel every weekend. The cracking sound of the burning wood from the camp fire is like music to my ears. Anyway, I hope you also give time for yourselves because if not, you are cutting your life short.

As soon as your work at home online business website with your domain name is up and running, it is essential that you begin marketing immediately. Too many people delay this all important fourth step and run into the problem of waiting to market until the website is further developed. The problem with this is that you will constantly be adding to and furthering your website. By postponing the release of your website you are only delaying any potential business you could be getting.

Then lastly, make sure to give each visitor that comes to your site the time of day. Return customers can be extremely beneficial toward getting your work at home online business off on the right foot. They can bring you more business, give you a testimonial to put on the site, and recommend you to friends of theirs or others online. Therefore, customer service should be of utmost importance to your business.

Things like quality content, creative designing, and constant marketing all have an impact on your success. If you focus on these few key facets you will get your online business up and running successfully.

New Wheels

Being the top earner and the “bread winner” in our family, I was the one who my mom would often go to for problems. Just last week my mom called me up to tell that our family car just broke down. It seems that the car can no long but be fixed and it will already need a replacement. Well, as if I have another choice but to help them get a new one. My mom told me that she is interested in getting a pre-owned gmc envoy. It will be fit it more people and gives a comfortable ride.

Well, I feel great that I am the one who my family calls up whenever there’s a problem. I guess I have to postpone my plans of having a great summer vacation this year. I was saving up for it and planning to have a Caribbean cruise. This does not mean that I will not take a holiday though. I would probably have to go on a cheaper holiday but to a place where I could get the same fun. Anyway, at least I get to blow up our old car into little pieces.
