Every year, our company holds a sports fest which involves all its employees in different departments. Since I joined the company, I have been a regular volleyball player for our department and there was this one time that I even became the most valuable player of the tournament. Unfortunately, I will not be able to play for our team this year due to severe joint pain that I’m recently experiencing. This is a heart breaker for me since I really love playing and competing.

Despite of being unable to play for my team, I will still sit on the bench beside other players and our coach to support our team. I will be cheering for them in all their games and be with them whether they are winning or losing. I will also be wearing my usual playing uniform that we redesign each year. Sport activities are just some of the things used by our company to promote unity and harmony in all of its employees.

My work is one of the most important things of my life and I’ve been dedicated to it. There are times that I even work on holidays and don’t even rest on weekends just to finish my work and meet some deadlines. This dedication has resulted to a promotion to a position in the marketing communications department. My new responsibility would be coordinating with the Recruitment Advertising that we are currently working with.

The nature of my new job and responsibility deals with marketing, promotion, advertising and branding of our products and services. This is a huge responsibility because the popularity of our products and services rely on the performance of our team. In addition to that, I’m getting a huge salary increase. I’ve given my heart to our company and in return, it helped me grow and it provided me security and contentment. Unless nothing really weird happens, I’m definitely going to stay with them for the rest of my working career.
